11.23.09. The day all of Lady Gaga's little monsters have been waiting for. The Re-release of the 4x platinum-selling album, The Fame is being repackaged with 8 brand new songs and is called The Fame Monster. Gaga explained that the album deals with the "Darker Side" of fame, and she draws inspiration for fashion shows for her beats. Some of the new songs are "Alejandro", "Bad Romance", and the ever-popular growing "Telephone", that features an appearance by Beyonce. Gaga was very skeptical about re-releasing this album, saying it wasn't very fair to her fans. As she quotes....."I think re-releases are unfair, [...] It’s artists sneaking singles onto an already finished piece of work in an effort to keep the album afloat. Originally [my label] only wanted me to put out three songs and now it’s much more than that. It’s a new album’s worth of material." Production from Red One, Space Cowboy and Rodney "Darkchild" Jenkins makes the 8 new songs just as unique as the rest of The Fame album. Do you believe that Lady Gaga can top herself with The Fame Monster ?
